Safety rules in France

For a while I've wondered if I needed a fluorescent jacket and warning triangle when riding in France. Well now I have a definitive answer from an official French government website and the links from it.

The simple answer is that drivers of 2 wheeled vehicles are exempt. However the fluorescent clothing seems a good idea. The approved warning triangles would be impractical.
